Illustration series
I’ve always had a love of postage stamps—from the scalloped perforated edges to the ever-changing designs, they are a perfect little canvas for art. So when I wanted to start an illustration series as a creative outlet outside of work I settled on autobiographical Instagram stamps. Each stamp tells a story—visually but also sometimes literally in the text of the post. My own rules say I always have to have a number on the stamp to honor historical denominational postage that displayed the monetary value of the stamp.
